District Sales Manager: Outboard Engines

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The selected candidate will be responsible for the management and leadership of the assigned Outboard Engine division sales district. This includes the development and implementation of district action plans, management of the district budget, the appointment of dealers according to predetermined profitability drivers and conducting activities with the goal of increasing dealer profits. Activities may include the focused sales call, sales bookings and the training and development of dealership staff.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and disciplined professional who possesses a minimum of three or more years of successful sales experience preferably within the marine industry. Confidence and the ability to react quickly and make well thought out strategic business decisions are a must. Significant knowledge of the retail environment with a proven track record in “closing the sale”. Strong organizational and communication skills are required as well as a mathematical aptitude. Extensive travel is also required.

The successful candidate must reside within their assigned sales district.

Manager Inbound/Outbound Logistics
Job Summary

Accountable for managing material, planning, scheduling, and shipping along with ensuring the supply chain/logistics is consistently providing a high level service to our customers. Implement and control JIT processes while providing satisfaction, profitability, cost efficient operations, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The Manager is responsible for the department's achievements and actions in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for the development of the production schedule with the sales and manufacturing groups. Manage complex schedule within a full model mix production operation. This includes; daily, monthly and quarterly SKU sequences.
Manage the planning group which responsibilities include inventory control, ensure all levels of inventory are at the right levels to implement just in time processes, while working with the engineering and purchasing departments to provide a quality supply chain operation while reducing cost and increasing a quality level of service.
Create and maintain the budget and forecast responsibilities for all incoming freight.
Negotiate and manage all contracts with carriers within the third party logistic environment (3PL). Support initiatives to reduce or minimize expedite freight expenses.
Responsible for all stock room functions. Manage and coordinate all activities within this department. Responsible for KANBAN system and people efficiency rate. Implement and support a continuous improvement culture (Lean Manufacturing Environment).
Support plant wide safety initiatives.
Coordinate outbound finished goods within 3PL carrier and corporate shipping targets.
Plan and monitor daily staffing schedule and adjust accordingly to ensure adequate staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectives.
Work with senior management to develop a business plan and goals for department.
Manage all business with daily, weekly and monthly key performance indicators.

Summary of Experience and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.

Minimum four to six years related experience in a management role with progressively increasing responsibilities.
Minimum four years industry experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

In-depth knowledge of all company products and services.
Highly experienced in the management of logistics operations.
Strong expertise and experience in inventory management and reconciliation.
Knowledgeable of Lean Manufacturing guidelines, SOX compliance and other related government regulations and requirements.
In-depth experience with SAP and other related software.
Demonstrated success in leading, managing and developing staff and high performance teams.
Ability to manage the financial aspects of a department (purchasing, budget preparations and review, financial reporting, monitoring expenses).
Demonstrated leadership skills in influencing departments and implementing and managing change.
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Proficient in project management methodologies with a focus on developing solution driven strategy plans to achieve goals, implementing business requirements, analysis and testing processes, and identifying timeline constraints, and risks.
Highly skilled in making customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions.
Strong interpersonal skills including diplomacy and patience.
Demonstrated skills in organization group process, problem identification and resolution.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Financial Analyst

Job description:
As a Financial Analyst for our Company, you will:

• Develop business cases for new products by understanding material, labor, tooling, and capital requirements including the development of revenue and margin estimates used to derive project ROI and NPV.
• Work with a complex bill of material to understand and cost a product.
• Provide support to operations and product development to understand and communicate new technology/process/material cost impacts.
• Support current product cost improvement activities and identify areas of opportunity.
• Manage the costing/pricing process to achieve the most accurate price possible from initial plan to price confirmation; anticipate problems, offer solutions, and address issues within the process.
• Work with finance leadership and factory staff to validate, understand, and communicate monthly manufacturing variances.
• Support Purchasing price negotiations as required through make/buy and target setting exercises
• Actively contribute to departmental initiatives/process improvements to enhance the overall department's effectiveness
• Support annual standard costs budgeting/forecast process and ongoing updates.
• Interpret customer needs, assesses requirements, and identify solutions to ad hoc requests.

Qualifications:
• BS in Finance required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2-5 years related work experience desired (product costing, BOMs, make vs. buy analysis, NPV, IRR, business cases)
• Record of high academic achievement preferred.
• High level of proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling.
• Comfortable communicating and presenting to all levels of management.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter continuously looking for process improvements.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Compensation:
Dependent upon experience and qualifications.
