Below you will find a great video on how ethanol in our boating fuel attracts water. Since most fuels have gone to 10% ethanol, boaters have been having problems. After retiring from the Army, I left Washington, DC and moved to sunny Florida. I have owned and operated boats all my life. I bought my first boat in 1981 and have been boating ever since. I got my Captains License in 2000, after working on a dive vessel for five years. I then went to work for Sea//Tow Treasure Coast and was an Instructor at the Chapman School of Seamanship. While at Chapman’s I taught Engine Maintenance, Boat Maintenance, Navigation, Boating Safety and Boat Systems. I have a boating blog site http://askcaptainjoan.blogspot.com/
