Please tell us about yourself... a brief autobiography.
Born in 1937 - a depression baby". Or was it that I gave my mum 'depression'? Grew up in Weymouth, ma. Went to school in Weymouth public schools, Northeastern Univ. and the Univ. of maryland. Served in the U.S. Army posted in Washington D.C. during the exciting years of the King "I have a dream" speech and the assassination of Pres. Kennedy.
Married with a great wife, two wonderful girls and two great 'grandboys'. Taught history in the Weymouth Public Schools and at Northeastern univ. for 20 years or so. Started a marine dealership in the early 1960s on a part time basis,; it grew and prospered, and went full time with it in 1986. Been having fun ever since. Currently serve our Industry as a Board member of the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association and serve as Chair of the Marine Retailers Association of America, in addtion to other boards and organizations. Enjoying life big time.
