- Grew up in S FL always around, in or on the salt water whether on boats, sailing, surfing, diving or fishing. In 1999 I took over as GM for my brothers marine business. In 2006 I invented the FloatStep dock ladder and won the MAATS 2007 Innovation Award for it in Las Vegas. I now run Atlantic Aluminum & Marine Products with my father, Peter Tellex, a retired engineer.
