MARINE BANKERS NAMES NEW DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS

The National Marine Bankers Association (NMBA) recently named two new directors to its board:  Mike Bryant of Trident Funding was approved by the membership as Director and will serve as Secretary of the association. Bob Weeks of International Recovery Group was elected as Associate Director, representing the interests of the ancillary businesses that support the NMBA. The NMBA slate of officers for 2011 are Karen Trostle, President (Sterling Acceptance Corporation); Mike Ryan, Vice President (M & T Bank); Mike Bryant, Secretary; and Bill Otto, Treasurer (Lake Effect Financial).  Other at large board members include Peggy Bodenreider, (Sterling Acceptance), Jim Coburn, Immediate Past President (Coburn & Associates), Don Parkhurst, (Sun Trust), Chris Renn (US Bank), Mike Smith (Global Marine Insurance), Jayme Yates (Caterpillar Financial Services), and James Stewart, Legal Counsel (Kotz, Sangster, Wysocki & Berg).  A complete listing of board members can be viewed on our website at http://www.marinebankers.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=....

Membership in the NMBA includes financial institutions such as commercial banks, private financing firms, savings and loan companies, and credit unions. Firms extend or originate credit to consumers, retailers/dealers and manufacturers of recreational boats and equipment.
