Dear Marine Industry.org members,
As a marine industry professional, we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to the 2010 Marine Dealer Conference & Expo.
MDCE is a dealer-focused educational and networking event, which this year will be held
Nov. 14-17 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Fla. It is co-produced by the Marine Retailers Association of America and
Boating Industry magazine.
The 2010 event will feature three educational tracks: (
Sales & Marketing,
Service Department and
Powering Profits) designed to appeal to personnel from every facet of a marine dealership. It will also include multiple networking receptions and a massive expo hall featuring prominent industry manufacturers and service providers.
You can get complete details on the event by visiting
boating-industry.com/MDCE or by
downloading the event's brochure.
For those of you who've never attended MDCE, here's a quick overview:
- It's the fastest-growing event in the marine industry. Last year’s MDCE, which took place at Disney’s Coronado Spring Resort in Orlando, attracted 743 total attendees, an increase of 199 percent over 2008. Of those who attended, 439 were dealership personnel, an increase of 122 percent over 2008, and 228 individual dealerships were represented. This year, total attendance is expected to reach 1,000.
- In 2009, 75 marine industry companies exhibited during the show, filling 58,000 square feet of exhibit space. This year the exhibit hall has been doubled to 106,000 square feet, and it is already at more than 80 percent of capacity with more exhibitors being added regularly.
